Surface Chemistry and Engineering of Industrial compounds
The research projects are aimed at pre-competitive research innovation and development of a knowledge base through which the South African industry may benefit directly. The knowledge base to be developed through the projects will establish expertise in the modification of industrial compounds’ surfaces in South Africa and will result in an international competitiveness both on an industrial economic level and on a human resources level. The research projects aim at an in depth understanding of the processes at industrial material’s surfaces and as such is highly relevant to the South African industry
