Animal breeding
Animal breeding deals with the genetic evaluation including the genetic characterisation of farm animals and wildlife using genetic markers. Genetic evaluation is being done in order to apply breeding values in livestock and wildlife. The genetic gains in breeding programmes are being measured as to determine the economic and production advantages.
