Community-Oriented Nursing Education for Women and Child Health
Four focus areas are addressed namely violence against women and children, unplanned pregnancies, maternal and neonatal mortality and HIV/Aids. Collaborative research with the Department of Nursing Science of the University of Limpopso (Medunsa Campus) serves the improvement of patient care and the development of a new model in nursing education to deliver nurses on undergraduate and postgraduate level who can assist women in emancipated decision making in health care.
