Oral Microbiology

The prevalence and role of microorganisms in the oral cavity are studied. Antimicrobial activity of different products, including indigenous South African plant extracts, to prevent biolfilm formation on teeth surfaces or fixed or temporary structures in the oral cavity and in the root canals of teeth are studied.
