Selected Highlights from Research Findings

The GSTM had a significant growth in research outputs in the form of the number of papers published in accredited journals and conference proceedings. Collaboration with researchers at institutions such as the Tilburg University in the Netherlands and Portland State University in Oregon, USA continued and contributed to the higher quality of research outputs. The GSTM was also instrumental in organising a specialised research conference attended by researchers and practitioners from local and abroad. Three doctoral students were successfully graduated. The research foci were on sustainable energy projects in Africa, project management in clean development mechanism projects and culture-based project management in Chinese versus South African projects.
