In this focus area the following aspects are under investigation: To improve the way in which IT departments and outsourced components of an IT department should be managed; To establish the necessary framework(s) to enable IT management to establish and maintain sound relationships between IT professionals and business partners: To establish ways in which IT and business alignment can be improved; To develop frameworks for improving IT service management; To investigate the impact of IS technology on the employees of an organization and visa versa.
