Intelligent Systems
The group specialises in the theory and application of systems that perceive, reason, learn, and act intelligently. The aim of the group is to create real-world intelligent systems applicable in the Southern African context. The broad focus areas of the group include: application specific computing and embedded systems, pattern recognition, image processing and computer vision, radar and electronic warfare, remote sensing, robotics and autonomous unmanned vehicles, surveillance and defence systems.
