Ongoing project: EU and DHET Researh Project Strengthening Foundation Phase Teacher Education. Details and Actions. A support grant has been obtained from the European Union and the Department of Education for a collaborative, interinstitutional project to strengthen Foundation Phase Teacher Education. The 3 year project seeks to support, relevant research in Foundation Phase education. This research has to inform the development of Foundation Phase teacher education materials to strengthen existing Foundation Phase initial teacher education.
