Multivariate analysis

The analysis of simultaneous measurements on many variables. Distinguish between techniques designed to study interdependent relationships and techniques designed to study dependent relationships. Multivariate methods are used for data reduction or structural simplification, sorting and grouping, investigation of the dependence among variables, prediction, hypothesis construction and testing
