Biocontrol of Soilborne Plant Diseases by means of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria
Application of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria ( PGPR) is studied for control of soilborne diseases on a range of economically important crops including wheat, maize , sorghum and tomatoes. The modes of action of effective PGPR strains is investigated and these strains are further developed for eventual commercialization.
