Radiometry & Photometry
Radiation research is done in the Radiometry and Photometry laboratories of the group. This includes the radiation characteristics of various radiation and light sorces. The equipment include a 5m Gonioradiometer, mini gonioradiometer, integrating sphere, spectroradiometer and luminance and illuminance meters. Current research projects include Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) and modern Solid State Lighting. The laboratories are equipped with accurate electrical measurement and recording equipment to do research in Energy Efficient Lighting.
