Mechanisticstudies of anti-TB compounds

The mechanism of compounds with antituberculosis activity is investigated. A low molecular weight compound, Mycothiol helps in the oxidative stress management of mycobacteria. Dr. Hamilton assists in exploring the inhibitory activity of potent anti-TB compounds on Mycothiol reductase, an enzyme responsible for mycothiol production
