ALG - The Pretoria experience. Assessing the response to combined Immunosuppression in patients aplastic anaemia.
Patients with aplastic anaemia present with pnasytopaenia and frequently require blood and platelet transfusions. The treatment of choice in young patients with HLA matched donors remains a bone marrow transplant. However, combined immunosuppressions has shown internationally to have produced very good responses. The aim of this study is to compare the efficiency of ALG in our population group.
