Selected Highlights from Research Findings
The low economic growth and high unemployment as well as poverty rate in South Africa calls for a critical analysis of start-up factors that lead to successful small businesses and entrepreneurial ventures. An analysis indicated that personnel management and involvement; role models; effective time management as well as support from partners and advisors play an important role in the success rate of start-up companies. It is recommended that small business owners and entrepreneurs should pay special attention to their support structures.
