The impact of an educational game on medical students’ performance of procedural skills
A game, the “I SPY SHOW”, was developed to make students aware of exactly what they do not know about the skills they have to master in GPS 280. The game comprises images and video clips displaying errors/omissions pertaining to the relevant skills . Students, competing in groups, identify the mistakes and get immediate, illustrated feedback. The highest level of the game requires a student representing a group to give a demonstration of a skill.
